Necklace Sizing Guide
Use these images to determine the necklace size that's right for you.
Please note that your body dimensions (neck width, collarbone length, etc.) may vary from that of the model, so it is important to measure yourself to be sure of your size.
How to measure your necklace size
- Use a soft tape measure. You can find this in the sewing section of craft supply stores. Sometimes it's also called a flexible or sewing tape measure, and you can also use a piece of string if you don't have one.
- Wrap it around your neck and place it directly on your skin the way a necklace would normally sit.
- Go down the tape and find the 16 inches mark, and see where it meets 0. That's about how long a 16 inch necklace will feel on you.
- You can repeat this step with 18 inches or 20 inches to get a sense of how other sizes will feel.
BONUS: If you have a necklace you already love, you can measure its length to use as a guide, and if you're looking to layer with that piece you can go for something a few inches longer or shorter so they compliment each other.
