All LucyKitty pieces are safe to wear in the shower and while working out. Our jewelry is designed to be tarnish-resistant and holds up well to daily wear and tear.

Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, medicated soaps, and chlorinated water as these can contain harsh agents that can strip jewelry.

Store your jewelry securely in the included microfiber pouch or in a jewelry box away from sources of moisture. Use a mild soap and water to clean when needed. You can also use a Gold Polishing Cloth to restore luster and shine. With proper care, gold-filled pieces can last for decades.

1-Year Limited Warranty:
At LucyKitty, we stand behind the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry. We are pleased to offer a 1-year limited warranty on all our pieces which covers breakage and tarnishing under normal wear conditions for one year from the date of purchase. Why gold filled jewelry?

Gold-Filled jewelry is tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic, and long-lasting, just like Solid Gold. Gold-Filled jewelry has a thick layer of Solid Gold heat and pressure bonded onto the base layer, usually brass or sterling silver.

Unlike Gold Plated Jewelry, which is made by using an electroplating process that quickly dips your jewelry in gold and results in a thin coating, Gold-Filled Jewelry is much more durable and long-lasting.

Gold-Filled Jewelry contains 5% gold by weight and is made by bonding a thick layer of gold to a core metal under heat and pressure, resulting in a much more secure and durable ‘coating’ that does not rub or flake off.

Can I wear this jewelry in the shower or during my workout?

Yes! You can safely wear your LucyKitty pieces in the shower and while working out. They are waterproof and tarnish-resistant.

We recommend removing your jewelry if you use any medicated soaps or lotions, as these can contain harsh agents that could strip your jewelry.

We also recommend taking off your jewelry before going into swimming pools or the ocean, as saltwater and chlorine can shorten the life of your jewelry.

Will this jewelry tarnish?

The short answer is: No!
